Zaineb Nayyar

Zaineb Nayyar is a licensed clinical psychologist (Dubai Health Authority) with an extensive experience of 9 years in evidence based psychotherapy. She is experienced in working with a vast variety of population from including children to adults including all sorts of generations, from Baby Boomers to Gen Z, Alpha, and now Beta. She not only deals with all sorts of mental health problems but her practice encompasses a broader scope, including everyday stress, marital issues, social issues, personality evaluation or anything else that may be causing you distress in life.

Zaineb’s style of therapy involves a collaborative relationship, cultural sensitivity for the client, and practical skill-building during the therapy session, with an emphasis on client reconnecting with their real self and heal their wounds from the past.
She is not only skilled in providing intensive hospital-based treatment but she’s also skilled in community outreach programs as well as in providing online therapy at national as well as at international level.

Apart from this, Zaineb played a crucial role in providing specialized trauma therapy to the survivors of the Army Public School and College’s Peshawar attack that took place on December the 16th, 2014. She managed to treat the survivors who were experiencing PTSD within a 2 month program. This experience enabled her in treating C-PTSD and built a deeper understanding of how catastrophic events can affect one’s psychological wellbeing.
